SI N17

A rather long stage characterized by a series of ups and downs but overall with little elevation change, moving east towards the heights above Città di Castello. In the southeast direction, a series of elevations are encountered including Monte Soma, Monte Vargonzana, and Monte Castellaccio. The ridge is followed up to Monte di Gragnano, then heading towards Rifugio Bocca Serriola where it is possible to stay overnight.
