A long stage with a moderate elevation gain, entering the territory of the Majella National Park. From Rivisondoli, the route leads to Pescocostanzo before turning right, crossing the plain and skirting the slopes of Pizzalto until reaching the trail, which ascends steeply along the ridge to first reach the summit of Monte Porrara at 2137 meters and then descend to Cima Ogniquota. Continuing along the main ridge, the path leads to the ski facilities of Campo di Giove before descending to Guado di Coccia, where the forested slopes of Tavola Rotonda are taken down to Campo di Giove.
