Hiking
A stage of intermediate length and elevation gain that climbs along the shores of the artificial basin of Lake Campotosto, one of the largest in Europe. Starting from Nerito, we cross the national road leading to Gran Sasso d'Italia and reach the village of Tottea, where the ascent begins until we reach the dam of Rio Fucino. From here, we ascend through the forest to the locality Il Coppo, and then descend to cross the road that runs alongside the lake. Following the biodiversity trail created by the Carabinieri of L'Aquila, we arrive at the town of Campotosto.
