An intermediate stage in terms of length and elevation that runs along the ridge acting as a watershed between the streams flowing down towards Teramo and those that flow towards Ascoli. From Padula, you enter the valley that heads northwest, climbing towards Pizzo di Moscio before sharply turning east to reach the Rifugio Lago dell’Orso at around 1800 meters altitude. From here, you descend to the pass where the Provincial Road of Bosco Martese crosses in the area of Ceppo.
