With this stage of medium length and elevation gain, the Sentiero Italia takes you along the ridges of the Molisano sector of the Monti del Sannio, delving into the Teverone valley, a left tributary of the Fortore. You will cross or skirt some wooded areas of significant natural value (Bosco Pianelle and Bosco Mazzocca) and a few modest peaks of this group (Morgia Giuntatore) in a picturesque environment where natural areas and cultivated fields alternate, until you reach the houses located at the southern edge of Bosco Mazzocca, along the highway connecting Campobasso and Benevento.
