Hiking
A relatively short stage with no elevation gain that crosses the valley formed by the Tammaro River, reaching the Candela – Pescasseroli trail, one of the most important transhumance paths in southern Italy. From San Marco, you descend towards the Tammaro River, which you cross when entering the municipality of Sepino. You continue towards the inhabited area before turning north to reach the beautiful archaeological site of Saepinum, where you can see the remains of the Samnite and Roman civilization.
