Hiking
A moderately long and uneven leg that leads the Sentiero Italia north towards the city of Isernia. From Roccamandolfi, the path ascends a first slope along the southern side of Colle di Mezzo. It then turns west and continues north until reaching the saddle at the foot of Serra Caprara. By circling the broad summit of Monte La Difenzola on the northeast side, it ascends to the base of Crocella before descending to the Sanctuary located where the Madonna appeared to two shepherdesses on March 22, 1888.
