A short stage heading west towards Vulture. From Spinazzola, it initially crosses the area of the "7 fountains of Spinazzola," skirting the green area of the "lame" and passing near the Sanctuary of Maria Santissima del Bosco. Following this, it descends into the valley formed by the Basentello stream and climbs back up to the village of Palazzo San Gervasio, which has Norman origins.
