For the first time since leaving Grottaglia, the Sentiero Italia features a stage with a medium elevation change, and with this intermediate stage, it reaches an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. From Accadia, a steep ascent leads to a ridge characterized by numerous wind turbines. This ridge is followed northward to the summit of Monte Crispignano, the third highest peak of the Monti Dauni, which reaches an elevation of 1105 meters. From here, the trail descends to the village of Panni and even lower to the banks of the Torrente Cervara. The ascent resumes, passing through the village of Montaguto and concluding in Orsara di Puglia.
