The Sentiero Italia continues north along the Monti della Daunia with this medium-length stage and a gentle elevation gain. From Faeto, the trail heads towards Monte Vento, circling its peak on the western slope, and continues towards Monte Saraceno at about 1100 meters above sea level. From here, the path descends to Monte del Forno, where a wide ridge is traversed, characterized by a series of ups and downs and numerous wind turbines. The route then leads to Monte Pagliarone, from which the descent to Alberona begins.
