Hiking
The final stage among the Monti Picentini leads to Monte Terminio, the second highest peak of the mountain range. It is still a short route, with a notable elevation change, especially downhill, as the descent goes from the 1806 meters of the summit down to 400 meters in Serino. From Piano di Verteglia, a gentle ascent takes you to Terminio, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Avellino, the Gulf of Salerno, and all the way to Vesuvius. Along the way, you can observe several sinkholes and karst phenomena before the long descent.
