Chiunzi Pass - Santa Maria dei Monti Shelter A very short segment with intermediate elevation that takes the Sentiero Italia to the summit of Monte Cerreto, one of the main elevations of the Lattari Mountains. From Chiunzi Pass, the ridge heads southwest, reaching the summit of Turro di Cesarano and bypassing the peaks of Colle Calavricito and Vena San Marco. After passing the Vena di Scalandrone, a steep ascent leads to Monte Cerreto. From here, you can see Ravello and Atrani to the south, and Scafati and Vesuvius to the north. From Monte Cerreto, descend until you intersect trail 351 that leads to the Santa Maria dei Monti Shelter.
