Hiking
Entering the province of Catanzaro, you leave the Aspromonte to enter the territory of the Parco Naturale Regionale delle Serre. The journey begins at Villaggio Limina, built in the 1950s for local farmers but never inhabited. Initially, you travel along the SP 501 towards Giffone for about 2.5 km. Then, turn left into a forest predominantly filled with beech and fir trees, for approximately 13 km, gently ascending and descending beneath Monte Cresta, Monte Seduto, Monte Ferro, and Monte Petrulli. Continuing, you will pass a stone house used as a forest refuge, and after crossing several streams, you reach the locality of Faggio dell'Orologio. From Faggio dell'Orologio, on a dirt road, you ascend towards Monte Petrulli, passing through the locations of Pracchio, where a spring is present, and Angelella until you arrive at the SP 501. Cross the SP, and along a gravel path, you arrive in Fabrizia, passing through the town until reaching the cemetery, followed by a descent on a trail. After several stream crossings, you reach Santa Maria di Cropani and Mongiana.
