A short stage characterized by a mostly downhill elevation change. After an initial climb that reaches an altitude of 1000 meters, you will arrive at the adventure park 'Il bosco sospeso' where you will take an asphalted road that will cover most of the stage. Near Monte Covello, the road is left behind to return to the trail and descend to the village of Girifalco (be sure to visit its religious architecture), located in the heart of the Isthmus of Catanzaro, through which passed the ancient magnogrecan road connecting the Ionian Sea with the Tyrrhenian Sea.
