Per accedere al Villaggio Verberano è sufficiente aprire e poi richiudere il cancello presente. Nonostante i cartelli di divieto, non esisto restrizioni per i passanti che percorrono il Sentiero Italia.
A long and entirely high-altitude stage that touches some peaks above 1500 meters before descending to around 1300 meters. Starting from the Callistro fountain in Villaggio Buturo, you walk about 500 meters on the SP22 towards Tirivolo, then turn right onto a trail that crosses a forest of larch and beech trees until reaching an ancient bridge, near which there is a deep pool of water created by the Crocchio River, known as a small waterfall. The route continues along an aqueduct track up to the Orme del Parco adventure park. Continue left for about 200 meters along the road and then right onto the trail that leads to a wide valley. You cross over to the opposite side, descending into the valley of the Soleo Stream, where you ford before embarking on a steep ascent that leads to the Galina Stream, a tributary of the Soleo. The path continues through a beech forest and large clearings in the Galina valley, and after passing near the Cai Catanzaro refuge Leone Grandinetti, you reach the road that leads, on the right, to the Gariglione Forest Ranger Station. You continue straight, following the Cai white-red signs, and descend to the Fosso del Baraccone. After a simple ford, you proceed past the “Finestra di Tacina,” which offers a wide view of the upper valley of the Tacina River, and shortly after, you encounter a waterfall created by the Pisarello Stream, a tributary of the Tacina. Continuing along the trail, you reach the wide Tacina valley. After fording the Tacina River, you climb the valley until reaching the ruins of a dairy and from there, head uphill towards the Berberano slope of the Valle di Ciricilla. You descend via switchbacks until the village of Bilotta, pass through it until you reach the Berberano rest area and reach the fork for Torre Todaro, continuing right towards Lake Ampollino. Following alongside Lake Ampollino for the most part, you arrive at Caporosa.
