SI U21

A moderately difficult stage with limited length, featuring an uphill first half followed by a significant descent, which will take you below 1000 meters in altitude for the first time in several days. Shortly after leaving the town of Camigliatello Silano, you will encounter the start of the lift that ascends to Monte Curcio. The Sentiero Italia CAI continues uphill past the arrival of the cable car, then descends to Spezzano Piccolo, now outside the territory of the Sila National Park. It is recommended to reach the nearby village of Serra Pedace (2 km away) by continuing on stage U22, where there are accommodation options (B&B) and various services (bar, grocery store, pharmacy).
