SI V07

A long stage with intermediate elevation gain that leads the Sentiero Italia towards the heights behind the city of Palermo. From Alcamo, the route continues east along meandering dirt roads. It reaches the location of Case Coloniche Fellamonica, situated at the lowest point of the route near the southern shore of the artificial basin of Lago Poma. This is followed by a climb up to Masseria Dammusi, which is located above the town of San Giuseppe Jato, not far from the watershed from which you descend into the plain of Palermo.
