The journey begins at the Bolostiu barracks of the Regional Forestas Agency, located in the municipality of Alà dei Sardi. You follow a dirt track for just under 6 km, then take a trail for about 600 m near a spring called "Perruncanes". Continuing on the dirt track toward Badde Suelzu, a small village with a charming little church near a fountain, you leave the village and briefly return to the dirt track until you reach a junction that leads to the archaeological site "Nurattolos" at an elevation of over 1000 m. From the site, you proceed on a trail and then on a cemented dirt track. At the beginning of the cemented section, there is a building that can be used for a possible rest stop. As you approach the inhabited area of Alà dei Sardi, the cemented dirt track becomes an asphalt road, with inter-village traffic, for about 2 km.
