SI Z09

A rather long stage that crosses the Tepilora Park, initially along a comfortable dirt road, leading to the foothills of Monte Tepilora. From there, it continues on paths and ancient mule tracks until crossing the Rio Mannu. The ascent becomes more significant, including some stretches of paved road, until reaching the highest part of the route, oriented east-northeast, offering wide views over the Baronia of Posada, Lake Maccheronis, and the sea in the background. The route alternates after a short provincial road detour with recently restored paths and sections of forest tracks until arriving at S.Anna di Lodè, at altitudes varying between 400 and 625 meters above sea level. Noteworthy are the enjoyable wide panoramas and the frequent presence of spring waters, which spare hikers from heavy supplies.
