A moderately long but quite challenging stage that connects the two plains, crossing Monte Tuttavista, which, after an initial slight ascent, reaches 764 meters near the large cross of the Bronze Christ, offering a remarkable view of the underlying plain. After about two kilometers on a comfortable dirt road, you arrive at the fire lookout, another significant vantage point overlooking the entire coast of Orosei. You then descend towards Orosei, first through a relatively easy wooded channel and then tackling a rocky stretch known as Sa Fraicata, which has considerable slope. Finally, you reach the valley floor on an easy dirt road that, after passing several now-disused lime kilns, leads us to the new bypass of the town of Orosei and to the Sanctuary of Rimedio at the entrance of the village. It’s worth mentioning the absence of water along the route.
