The stage begins by retracing the short stretch from the reception structure (please coordinate logistic support in advance with Mr. Salvatore Fancello, known as Baddore, at the number 3470086640) located about 800 m from Surtana. You will tackle the so-called “staircase” of Surtana to continue (after passing a few junctions of other paths, on the right Sos Mojos and further on the left Cuccuttos staircase) into a valley heading towards Tiscali. After visiting the site, during the spring and summer, the visit will be accompanied by local guides, and upon crossing the narrow gap, you will follow the descending path that leads to the valley of Lanaitto, a well-known location for numerous hiking opportunities. After visiting the Nuragic village of Sa Sedda and Sos Carros with the possibility of a guided tour, continue northward to visit some sheepfolds (cuili) including Su Vicu, s’Uscradu, and Orthini. The next destination is towards Punta Cusidore, and through the staircase of Sovana, at the foot of the summit, you will descend north, making sure to take a break at the recently renovated cuile Intro Ishalas. Upon reaching the junction of path 406, turn west towards Sa Podda, path 401, which leads to the stopping point Monte Maccione.
