A moderate-length stage that connects two mountain systems, the Supramonte of Orgosolo with the Gennargentu Massif (where Punta La Marmora, 1834 m a.s.l., the highest peak in Sardinia, is located). The route begins in the forests of Montes and after passing on our left the Fumai mountain (1316 m a.s.l.), it follows a path that, in its middle section, runs alongside the Flumineddu river until its source (Sa Muidorgia) to reach the Correboi pass, which marks the boundary between the two mountain systems, where there is currently a former Carabinieri barracks. From this pass, the highest part of the island's mountain range begins. After crossing the pass and passing through a newly built juniper gate, you initially proceed downhill. Arriving at the coordinates N40.07154° E9.35489°, there is a fork indicating east towards the Sos Ghidileddos fountain (about 100 m), while our direction is initially north before continuing east, climbing steeply on the southern side of Nodu and Littipori towards Genna and Monte (1507 m a.s.l.). Almost at the ridge, you turn south towards Monte Arbu (1567 m a.s.l.) and then continue on an unpaved road towards the Genna Duio pass, from where you can easily reach the stage point Su Separadorgiu, which requires prior contact via WhatsApp with Tore Moro (338.4566078 - 3807995201). This stage offers stunning panoramic views and easy access to water sources. Caution is advised in case of fog.
